Water Table

Birch, Elm, & Tung Oil
2005

This table was designed for the West Kootenay Boundary Regional Juried Art Show, entitled "Fluid Aesthetics." The theme of the show is "Water in the Columbia Basin."

The top of the table represents water flow, frozen in time. The legs are stumps below the water line, and the curved cross rail is the original Columbia River that used to run freely through the watershed.

This table comes apart for easy transport and shipping, yet is easy to assemble and very sturdy.
