An Emily Carr painting entitled "Wood Interior" heavily influences the design of this stunning tall cabinet. The marquetry on the door panel is homage to Emily Carr’s work. The curved door and the "roots" of the tree form the handle at the bottom of the cabinet. The curved top provides a slightly Eastern influence to this West Coast design. The cabinet has four shelves and could be used to hold a variety of items, such as precious wine and glasses.
